The 2026 Fund against De-industrialisation supports the investments of manufacturing companies to strengthen and upgrade their production units. Managed by Invitalia, it is granted under the de minimis regime: the contribution covers up to 100% of eligible costs, with a cap of €300,000 per company.
The BESS is a brand-new, capitalisable plant installed to serve the production unit: it is among the eligible machinery and plant, including installation costs.

Applications are submitted on a first-come basis and processed in strict chronological order of arrival. Whoever applies first is assessed first, and the 20 million run out. The project must be built and ready before the desk opens.
The grant application is handled by NextLab Srl, our official partner (Ascoli Piceno · Pescara · Fermo): verification of requirements and de minimis capacity, submission of the application to Invitalia and reporting through to disbursement. Yes. A BESS storage system is a brand-new, capitalisable plant installed to serve the production unit: it is among the eligible costs of the Notice (machinery and plant, including installation costs), provided it serves the self-consumption of the manufacturing site and is bought from a supplier not connected to the company.
Yes. A photovoltaic plant serving the production unit is among the eligible instrumental plant works. You can build a new one, extend an existing one or integrate it with a storage system.
Companies of any size carrying out at least one activity of macro-category C — Manufacturing Activities (ATECO 2025), with a production unit already existing or to be established in one of the 30 municipalities under Piceno Consind, duly incorporated and with residual de minimis capacity.
The contribution is a grant covering up to 100% of eligible costs, with a maximum of €300,000 per company, within the limits of de minimis capacity. It is paid as a reimbursement, with the possibility of an advance of up to 50% against a bank guarantee.
The desk is open from 12:00 on 31 August 2026 to 12:00 on 30 October 2026. Applications are processed in strict chronological order of arrival: applying early is decisive.
Costs incurred from 8 May 2024 to 31 December 2028 are eligible. An investment already started can therefore qualify, provided it meets all the conditions of the Notice.
